Extremely valuable, high volume, or hazardous materials require careful handling equipment to control waste and improve safety. Microscoping™ technology is particularly well suited to automated change-in-weight feeders. Based on these sensors, Psylotech has developed systems and algorithms to carefully control flow rate or dispensed mass. For example, we managed to dispense mass from a 20 kg volume with ±0.1g repeatability.

Various features unique to Psylotech sensors differentiate our dispensers. The high resolution enables fine closed loop control without mechanical counter-balances. Weighing a container's contents offers a mechanism to track remaining product inside. The arbitrary offset feature removes the container weight from the reading, freeing up the sensor's entire range for monitoring the container's contents.
